Last Friday was a monumental day at Circula as we opened our doors for our very first student company visit.
16 students from The Berlin School of Economics and Law, also known as Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Recht Berlin or HWR for short, ranging from various study fields, participated in our LinkedIn workshop focused on building their personal brands!
Warm Welcome from Karen
Our day kicked off with a warm welcome from Karen Lindner, our VP of People & Culture. She shared insights into Circula's growth journey, from humble startup roots to the thriving, scaling organization we are today.
LinkedIn Insights with Alexandra
Our LinkedIn expert & Senior Talent Acquisition Manager, Alexandra Ösze, shared her unique recruitment perspective to unravel the mystery behind LinkedIn. She focused on why LinkedIn is crucial for today's job hunting, what influences the algorithm, and how students can create profiles that stand out in the competitive job market.
LinkedIn Group Workshop
With the help of Circula’s very own LinkedIn profile checklist, students huddled into groups, brainstorming and sharing tips on how to optimize their profiles. Working together in teams of different user levels allowed for peer exchange of ideas and discussions about how to increase their professional networks and how to create relevant content to boost their own brands!
Hüsnü's Success Story
Hüsnü Garibagaoglu, a former HWR student, took to the stage to close out the workshop and highlighted the growth & career opportunities that we offer at Circula. His journey from intern to Venture Development Manager since 2020 is a true testament to the opportunities that await motivated talents at Circula!
Networking With Circula Employees
To cap off an insightful day, we mingled over some pizza and drinks. HWR students and Circula employees exchanged thoughts, discussed roles, and explored potential collaborations. The future looks bright, and we're excited about the possibilities that lie ahead!
